Support & Stability for Faster Recovery

At Body Balance Rolfing® & Massage, Jenny Rock, Certified Advanced Rolfer®, incorporates Kinesio Taping as part of her intuitive healing approach to support muscles, reduce pain, and enhance mobility. Used as needed in Jenny’s sessions, this therapeutic taping technique is included at no extra charge to help stabilize joints, promote circulation, and facilitate recovery.

Kinesio Taping is a specialized therapeutic taping technique that uses elastic, breathable tape to gently support muscles and joints without restricting movement. Unlike rigid athletic tape, Kinesio Tape moves with your body, providing pain relief, enhanced circulation, and improved stability.

This method has been used by athletes, physical therapists, and bodyworkers worldwide to aid in:

  • Pain reduction & muscle support
  • Improved circulation & swelling reduction
  • Joint stabilization & movement enhancement
  • Faster recovery from injuries & overuse conditions

How Does Kinesio Taping Work?

Kinesio Taping works by lifting the skin slightly, creating space that allows for:

  • Increased blood and lymphatic flow to promote healing
  • Reduced pressure on pain receptors, decreasing discomfort
  • Enhanced joint & muscle support, improving stability and mobility
  • Better movement patterns, reducing strain on injured or overused areas

When applied properly, Kinesio Tape gently reinforces the body’s natural healing processes, providing relief and support without restricting range of motion.

When Do We Use Kinesio Taping?

At Body Balance Rolfing® & Massage, Jenny incorporates Kinesio Taping when it enhances your treatment. While it is not offered as a standalone service, it may be included as part of your paid session when beneficial.
