Meet Jenny Rock, Certified Advanced Rolfer® and Massage Therapist in Beaverton, OR

A Lifelong Dedication to Healing & Bodywork

Jenny Rock has always been curious—about the body, the mind, and the connections between the two. This curiosity is what initially led her on a lifelong journey to understand movement, pain relief, and healing, and ultimately to the practice of Rolfing® Structural Integration.

Jenny’s journey as a bodyworker began in 1988, when she attended massage school while earning her BA in Psychology. From the start, Jenny was drawn to deep tissue massage, seeing firsthand how it helped clients quickly recover from chronic and acute pain. This ignited the spark that led her to become a Certified Rolfer® in 2001, and later a Certified Advanced Rolfer™ in 2017.

Today, Jenny integrates Rolfing® with advanced therapeutic techniques, including radial shockwave and medical cold laser, which helps her clients find immediate relief from pain, improved posture, healing of old (and new) injuries, and greater ease of movement.

Rolfing®, Myofascial Release, & Neuromuscular Therapy

Jenny's background in Rolfing® Structural Integration, Myofascial Release and Neuromuscular Therapy gives her all the training to release deep-seated tension, improve mobility, and optimize body function.

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT)

Jenny has recently incorporated Shockwave Therapy (Radial Pressure Wave – RPW) into her practice, and the results have been incredible. This non-invasive therapy is highly effective for:
✔ Tendon injuries & scar tissue release
✔ Plantar fasciitis & frozen shoulder
✔ Bunions & chronic pain conditions

She uses the OrthoPulse Ultra 100, a powerful device that supports healing and tissue regeneration. You can read more about it here: Curamedix OrthoPulse Ultra 100

Laser Fat Reduction with the Zerona Z6 Laser (By Erchonia)

Painlessly emulsify fat cells beneath the skin. The process is completely non-invasive, meaning no surgery, no needles, and no recovery time! This is an actual laser, not the "red light" therapy of most other systems. (In fact, in the clinical trials, the researchers used LED and other red lights as the control since they are so weak compared to the laser.)

Cupping & Guasha

These ancient healing techniques complement my bodywork by enhancing circulation, breaking down adhesions, and speeding up recovery. There is no extra to use either of these as part of a Rolfing® session.

Cold Laser Therapy (XLR8 by Erchonia)

Cold laser therapy has been a game-changer for my clients. Using the Erchonia XLR8 cold laser, Jenny helps reduce inflammation, pain, and muscle tightness, making it a valuable addition to Rolfing® and manual therapy. There is no extra charge for this while receiving a Rolfing® session.

Kinesio® Tex Tape - The original of it's kind!

Where necessary Jenny will apply Kinesiotape to support injured muscles and joints, helping clients recover faster and move more comfortably. There is no extra charge for this as part of a Rolfing® session.

A Passion for Healing & Bodywork

Jenny’s journey into bodywork began in 1988, when she attended massage school while earning her BA in Psychology. She quickly discovered her passion for deep tissue work and pain relief, leading her to become a Certified Rolfer® in 2001 and a Certified Advanced Rolfer® in 2017. Over the years, she has continually expanded her expertise, deepening her understanding of how the body heals and moves.

  • Rolfing® Structural Integration – Realign your body for pain relief & better movement.
  • Radial Shockwave for treating stubborn tendon issues, ligaments, scar tissue, bone spurs, and muscle spasms.
  • Medical Cold Laser for pain, inflammation and many other issues.
  • Myofascial Release & Neuromuscular Therapy – Target chronic pain & mobility restrictions.
  • Cupping & Guasha – Improve circulation, release tension & speed recovery.
  • Kinesio Taping – Support muscles, stabilize joints & enhance healing.

Rolfing®: A Holistic Approach to Pain Relief

Unlike traditional massage, Rolfing® Structural Integration is designed to create lasting change by working with the body’s fascia (connective tissue) to improve alignment, posture, and overall movement efficiency. It is particularly effective for:

  • Chronic pain conditions (back, neck, shoulders, joints)
  • Acute pain and injury – The sooner you get care the faster you can recover!
  • Injury rehabilitation & scar tissue release
  • Postural imbalances & movement restrictions
  • Athletic performance & recovery
  • Range of motion improvement

A Science-Backed, Intuitive Approach to Healing

Jenny has a unique sense for blending the science of bodywork with the art of listening to her intuition—a combination that has helped many people experience real, lasting relief.

Beyond Jenny’s hands-on work, she’s also trained as a Life Coach with Coach University and The Field Project, teaching personal development workshops and helping clients remove mental and emotional blocks that hold them back.

In all aspects of Jenny’s work—physical, emotional, and energetic—her goal is to help you break through obstacles and move forward. Whether you’re doing the Rolfing® Series or focused session work, Jenny’s goal is to help you on AND off her table.

Jenny’s Philosophy

It is Jenny’s belief that every person has an inner wisdom about their body. Her job is to listen to that wisdom, work within your body’s natural limits, and help you unlock your full potential.

Unlike the outdated rumor that Rolfing® is painful, it is Jenny’s approach is to work within your comfort threshold. Her sessions may go deep, but are never forceful—your body determines the depth, not her.  Remember that Rolfers™ work on babies and children, you can handle this.

  • If you want a relaxing massage, that’s not Jenny (James, Corrine, and Maggie are bester suited for that).
  • If you want targeted, results-driven bodywork, that’s Jenny! It’s her goal to make every session the best bodywork you’ve ever experienced.
